Expression of Interest – Ground Investigation Technician

- Be working on various sites across the Hawkes Bay – Central, Lower and Eastern North Island undertaking geotechnical ground investigations.
- Collect and generate site data to industry standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to the field such as equipment malfunctions, unforeseen ground conditions.
- You will need the ability to work independently and part of a team.
- Keen interest in civil, geological, and geophysical engineering (prior experience working in the construction or contracting industry desirable).
- NZ residency or valid NZ work visa & clean full NZ driver’s license
- Practical and problem-solving skills with hydraulic and electronic equipment
- To be proficient with Microsoft Office and attention to detail with numerical datasets
- A strong health and safety awareness
- Able to travel across NZ during the working week & capable to work outdoors
- Excellent communication skills
