Sustainability at RDCL

Having attended a Sustainable Business training programme supported by NZ Trade and Enterprise, RDCL is re-evaluating our environmental performance. This is in-line with our Sustainability Policy.  What the course has done is help us identify and develop a system of meaningful indicators and continuous review to measure our progress.

The Ministry of Economic Development has released a web based environmental assessment tool for small to medium sized businesses in New Zealand. The tool is aimed at reducing operational costs whilst quantifying and improving environmental performance.  Its a good start and we recommend it to you.

In our work we will continue to make logical, tangible recommendations in keeping with our sustainability policy and recommendations made by FIDIC (International Federation of Consulting Engineers, www.fidic.org).
