RDCL Operates new Geotech Nova Cone System

RDCL is pleased to announce the purchase of a new Cone Penetrometer Testing (CPT) Nova cone, cordless system.  The Nova Cone uses cordless technology to transmit the data signal from the cone to receiver.  The unit makes probing faster and increases the portability of the CPT system.  In particular we can more easily adapt the pushing system to conventional rigs allowing us to travel easily.

The Nova system adds to RDCL’s current “conventional” CPTu system (also cordless) and Tri-Axial Seismic Cone Penetrometer (SCPT) system.
