Downhole Logging Services – Coal / Petroleum Geophysical Logging Tool and ATV
The RDCL brand new downhole (coal and petroleum) geophysics logging system is now fully operational. We are using Century Geophysical tools and acquisition system to deliver leading edge, reliable services every time.
The tool is equipped to run density, guard resistivity, calliper, natural gamma and full-wave sonic logs.
These brand new tools come with a high-powered density source (300mCsi) to maximise data quality, even through steel casing, and the latest calibration equipment.
Acoustic Televiewer (ATV) logging is also underway in the Philippines in partnership with GXD Supply, and using state-of-the-art ALT logging systems. This technology is rapidly emerging as an important analytical tool with application in geological, geotechnical and reservoir studies.
Processing is done using the latest version of WellCAD, with in-house geology support available for QA and your interpretation needs.
People make the tools go down (come back up and interpret results !).
Gareth Hay previously ran tools for a New Zealand downhole logging company, joinging RDCL in May 2011.
Oliver Gibson joined RDCL in January 2012most recently from Fugro as a geophysical specialist. These guys are good operators and understand what we are doing.
