CPT rig back in Canterbury from 19 November

Due to on-going demand, our mobile CPT drill rig heads back to Canterbury to undertake continued liquefaction assessment on residential and commercial sections affected by the 7.1 Darfield earthquake.

The rig provides powerful 16 tonne push/20 tonne pull capacity and operates effectively on tracks or rollers.

“The rig’s ability to get into challenging sites, especially sand and rough terrain river deltas, is keeping us busy.  We expect to be here for the long term providing support,” says Geotechnical Engineer, Richard Dee.
