RDCL’s civil works experience means that we understand ground risk and how to manage it.
Our project experience includes roads, heavy plant foundations, bridges, land slide remediation, tunnels, light industrial buildings and residential developments.
Our area of operations has given us particular experience in deeply weathered tropical soils including volcaniclastic materials, soft sediments, seismic issues and construction in rock. Our clients are local government, property developers, engineering consultants, mining companies and construction contractors.
RDCL is particularly developing our capability with the CPT and Siesmic CPT to integrate our geotechnical services and provide meaningful, quality solutions for structural and civil engineers. This is important with the increased emphasis placed on seismic design as part of the structural code (NZS1170:Structural Design Actions).
