Peter Church is the Principal Geologist with RDCL having 17 years minerals industry experience including extensive mining and exploration in New Zealand, Australia and Africa. He is a member of the Australasian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy (AusIMM).

Peter has been in “industry” for most of his career. He has worked on open cut and underground mines and is experienced in grade control and reconciliation systems and procedures for new operations including 6 years experience in conditional simulation techniques.

His exploration work includes near-mine and resource development, and greenfields exploration in West Africa. His commodity experience includes coal, lignite, gold, channel iron and nickel laterites. He has run large teams and is strong in project and contract management.

Peter lives in Wanaka with his wife and 3 girls, a dog and a really big house to which he is adding a wood shed, porch, and various other structures (at least that’s his plan anyway – we understand some of them are lagging behind. Peter “Bob the Builder” Church is a serial builder, renovator, volunteer firefighter, community representative and generally really busy family guy.
