Gareth Hay

BSc, MAusIMM, Member NZCS

Gareth has a BSc in Earth and Ocean Sciences from the University of Waikato and is a member of the Australian Institute of Metallurgy and Mining (AusIMM) and the New Zealand Coastal Society (NZCS). He joined RDCL to provide a geophysics capability, particularly aound downhole logging. 

Gareth has five years of experience in downhole logging, GPR, radio imaging and seismics. He has worked across New Zealand, Australia and Southeast Asia on a wide variety of projects including mining, oil and gas, civil engineering, environmental and scientific studies.

Gareth is in his element when getting stuck into field work in remote locations, and so far RDCL has been happy to oblige with work undertaken in Papua New Guinea and the Philippines. Originally from the Bay of Islands, when at home Gareth enjoys fishing, sailing and working on his cars.
