Eija is a Civil Engineer with specialist interest in Geotechnical engineering with a Master of Engineering (MEng) (First Class Honours) from University College London including an exchange year at the University of Melbourne.

Eija has experience in foundation design with special interest in alternative landfill covers including effect on groundwater contamination, and behaviour of volcanic soils.

In her spare time Eija enjoys outdoor activities including tramping, sailing and tending to her veggie patch !! Eija is a sketch artist and accepted the high pressure position as RDCL’s Artistic Director responsible for beautifying the group. A tall order perhaps !
