Leadership Training – Creating a Great Team

We value leadership, performance and technical excellence.  To help us stay at the front, we train our staff and work on our systems.  Since June 2009 we have trained and attended:

* IPENZ Earthquake Engineering Seminar – 1 day workshop attended by Reuben, Tom and Giles;
* Comprehensive First Aid – 2 day course attended by Reuben;
* Leadership Training – 1 day workshop attended by all staff and facilitated by Ian Richards from the Pacific Institute (www.pacificinstitute.co.nz); and
* NZSOLD 2009 Symposium – 1 day technical seminar held in Wellington and attended by Cam.  This was a very interesting session around dam safety management, dam certification and around proposed and enacted law changes.

We have also:

* undergone our first, annual ISO9001:2000 external audit; and
* submitted our entry for the Westpac Hawke’s Bay Business Awards 2009.
